• Foreign exchange, a banking term for changing money from one currency into another
• FX, a company based in Japan that manufactures high-quality bootleg anime DVDs
• FX, a hardware enthusiast variant of the AMD Athlon 64 microprocessor
• F/X, a movie set in the behind-the-scenes world of special effects (There was also a sequel, F/X2)
• The Series, a television series based on the movie
• FX Networks, a cable/satellite television network
• Fracture (bone), in medical short-hand
• FX is the model designation for Infiniti's compact luxury crossover SUVs
• Fx or fx is the abbreviation of the Mozilla Firefox web browser, in computing
• In Manila, Philippines, FX may mean the Tamaraw FX, an SUV from Toyota, or any SUV used for non-official commercial transport plying fixed routes around the metropolis. In Cebu City, Philippines, these are called V-hires.
• Fighter Experimental, a 1960s U.S. Air Force advanced fighter specification which yielded the F-15 Eagle Air superiority fighter and largely mirrored in the F-14 Tomcat naval air superiority fighter
• FX, an instrumental song from Black Sabbath's 1972 album Black Sabbath, Vol. 4
