Marton Csokas (pronounced 'Cho-kash') (born June 30, 1966 in Invercargill, New Zealand) is a New Zealand actor with Hungarian origins.
He is best known internationally for his role as Celeborn in the films The Fellowship of the Ring (film) and The Return of the King (film). He has also made numerous appearances in Warrior Princess as Xena's past love and ally, Borias, and Khrafstar. He is a graduate of Toi Whakaari, The New Zealand Drama School in 1989.
He is named after his father, who is from Hungary.
