Carnie Wilson (born April 29 1968 in Bel Air, California, USA) is an American singer and television host, best known as a member of the singing group Wilson Phillips. She is the daughter of American 1960s pop icon Brian Wilson and his first wife Marilyn Rovell, a Jewish American singer from girl group The Honeys.
In 1990, along with her sister Wendy and Chynna Phillips, she co-founded the group Wilson Phillips, which had an extremely popular debut album, Wilson Phillips, which launched 5 top 20 hits. Their sophomore album achieved notably less success and the group eventually broke up.
Sisters Carnie and Wendy continued to perform together, producing a modestly popular Christmas album, and a little-noticed album on Mercury Records that also included singing by their father, Brian.
