Joseph Anthony Mantegna, Jr. (born November 13, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actor.
Born into an Italian-American family, he made his acting debut in the 1969 stage production of Hair.
Mantegna has been married to the former Arlene Vrhel since December 3, 1975. They have two children of whom one - their daughter Mia - is autistic, and the other, Gina, who has just finished an upcoming movie alongside with her father.

LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Britney Spears' recently resolved custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline wasn't just messy, it was expensive. Court documents show legal bills submitted on behalf of two law firms who represented Spears total more than $466,000. That's on top of the $250,000 the 26-year-old pop singer has agreed to pay Federline's attorneys.
