Cobras is an alternate state of reality, similar to Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory. However, in a state of Cobras, one is forced naked into a room filled with an always consistant amount of poisonus cobras. The person bitten by said snakes will suffer all side-effects except for death, which never happens in a state of Cobras. Cobras is thought to be eternal, with no humanly way of returning to reality
Why people are thrust into a state of Cobras, and other occurences, is different among religions which support the theory of Cobras. In Christianity, for example, if someone committed a crime not exactly damnable, but still terrible, they would be forced into Cobras.
