Carl Vine (October 8, 1954, Perth, Australia) is an Australian classical composer, with seven concertos and six symphonies to his credit. A seventh symphony has been planned, to be performed by the West Australian Symphony Orchestra on 1st & 2nd of December, 2006.

Carl Vine is one of the most prominent Australian Composers. Since November 2000, he has been the Artistic Director of Musica Viva Australia, as well as continuing as a freelance composer in Sydney.
