Lou Perlman, the talent manager responsible for the Backstreet Boys and N*SYNC, teamed up with country music icon Kenny Rogers to create country music's version of the boy band.

Kenny Rogers felt Marshall Dyllon could be the band "that brings 14-year-old girls who are now listening to 'N Sync to country radio. ^*
