Glass Harp is a Youngstown, Ohio based power trio consisting of guitarist Phil Keaggy, drummer John Sferra and bassist Dan Pecchio.
In the early 1970s, Glass Harp performed with Traffic,Yes, The Kinks, Humble Pie, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, and Grand Funk Railroad among others, on stages ranging from The Fillmore auditorium to Carnegie Hall.
Keaggy left the band in 1972 to pursue a solo career in the Contemporary Christian Music field. Sferra and Pecchio continued to perform together as Glass Harp for a while, adding guitarist Tim Burks and violinist Randy Benson, but eventually went their separate ways. All three band members have reunited a number of times, including several well received performances in Ohio, and a short tour in 2000. The 2000 reunion tour included a sold out performance with the Youngstown Syrnphony Orchestra, which was recorded and released as a 2 CD set, entitled Strings Attached. Sferra also played drums on Keaggy's Crimson and Blue album, and the 1993 tour in support of that release.
