Enuff Z'nuff is an American hard rock band from Chicago, Illinois, led by Donnie Vie (guitar, keyboards and vocals) and Chip Z'nuff (bass and vocals). Less than a year after getting together, the duo had recruited guitar player Gino Martino and drummer B W Boeski. Their main influences are Badfinger, The Raspberries, Cheap Trick, Elvis Costello, and most notably, The Beatles.
The band released their self-titled debut album in 1989 on Atco Records, with original members Vie and Z'Nuff being joined by guitarist Derek Frigo and drummer Vikki Foxx. They had two minor hits that year with "New Thing" and "Fly High Michelle" which both received airplay on MTV. The band also made regular appearances on the Howard Stern Radio Show and there is a section on Chip Z'nuff in Howard Stern's book "Private Parts".
Derek Frigo died from an apparent drug overdose at the age of 36 (his father is the violinist Johnny Frigo).
