Brotherhood of the Wolf (original French title Le Pacte des loups) was a 2001 movie directed by Christophe Gans, starring Samuel Le Bihan, Vincent Cassel, Monica Bellucci and Mark Dacascos, and written by Gans and Stéphane Cabel.
Stylistically, the movie is an extreme pastiche. In addition to being a historical/drama/horror movie, it has kung fu fight sequences similar to those from The Matrix; it also contains elements of erotica and humor.
The film had been called the highest grossing French movie ever, grossing over $70 million USD worldwide, although in the United States the film was neither a commercial success, grossing only $10 million USD, nor critically acclaimed.

@danielweinand Finally saw Brotherhood of the Wolf! Very cool movie, although the CG was pretty so-so. The story was awesome!
