Philip Reed (1760 – November 2, 1829) was an American politician. He was appointed as U.S. Senate from Maryland in 1806 following the resignation of Robert Wright and was re-elected the same year, serving until 1813. He then served in the U.S. House of Representatives, serving the seventh district of Maryland from 1817-1819 and later the sixth district from 1822-1823.

Reed left Congress in 1813 to become a Lt. Col. in the Maryland Militia in Kent County. He led a successful defense in the Battle of Caulk's Field, August 1814.
