Megumi Ogata (緒方 恵美 Ogata Megumi, born June 6 1965, making her a Gemini. Her first name (Megumi) is sometimes mistranslated as Emi) is a well known seiyū and J-pop singer. Ogata was born in Tokyo. Her height is 168cm and her blood type is B.

When Megumi Ogata was in primary school, she loved acting but stopped in junior high school with interests of sports such as basketball. In high school, she acted as a boy in a school play. She was not interested in university, but her father wanted her to study. She stopped studying at university after only 1 year.

After disagreements and arguments with her father, she moved away from her family and began a new life following her seiyū path.
