, born March 30, 1967 in Kita-ku, Tokyo, Japan) is a very popular voice actress (seiyū) and singer in Japan. She began her voice acting career while training for her original career option as a registered nurse and since played many of anime's most beloved characters, including Faye Valentine, Lime, Rei Ayanami, Anna Kyōyama, Musashi/(Jessie), Lina Inverse and the female form of Ranma Saotome.
Hayashibara is married and has one daughter.
